Sebastian Desch drew his inspiration for designing the jewel coffee table from a traditional diamond ring setting. Like the delicate metal prongs on a ring that hold precious stones in place, attractive arms made of solid wood hold a clear glass top with a bevelled finish, adding a refined finishing touch to the elegant overall look.
Just as captivating is the interplay with the double base: an additional glass panel in the centre of the table acts like a lens, subtly drawing your gaze towards the sophisticated join between the individual wood elements and showcasing this fine detail of traditional artisan craftsmanship to superb effect.
