Sculpted out of solid wood
elliot is Lucia Koldova’s endearingly refreshing take on a classic lounge chair. Its sumptuous upholstery and smoothly rounded solid wood elements lend it an inviting charm. With its compact dimensions and details that are restrained yet refined, this design offers a versatility that makes it ideal for all kinds of living areas. The Italian wool bouclé surface has a distinctive, soft texture. Teamed with the multi-layered cushion made from the sustainable raw materials coconut latex and natural latex, it promises lasting comfort – whether you sit on it straight, sideways, upright or casually lounge backwards!
Stylish forms, strong contrasts
Lucie Koldova creates objects of desire: her work encompasses everything from lyrical glass sculptures to lighting design and the conceptualisation of urban spaces. Born in Czechia in 1983, she later spent several years in Paris, where she absorbed the creative influences of the city and transformed them into a charismatic style of her own. In her designs, she likes to play with unusual proportions, colours and strong contrasts, mainly using traditional materials like wood and glass. Koldova has had her own studio in Paris since 2012. The elliot lounge chair is her first piece for TEAM 7.
