Unless stated otherwise, all wooden surfaces are finished with natural oil.

Sebastian Desch designed the echt.zeit table as an invitation to rediscover the pleasure of real encounters and real conversations, so that we may enjoy those shared moments in life. This was the idea behind a piece of furniture whose natural expressiveness moves and inspires people.
The brushed table top truly brings the natural features of the wood to the fore. The panels of sleek, burnished steel are set back discreetly, ensuring the focus is on the wood’s solid physicality. As only certain tree trunks can be used for the pieces needed to create the echt.zeit table, the knowledge and experience of the traditional craftsman play a decisive role in the choice of wood.
